Title: NIST Offers Two DCS Orange Cryostats for Neutron Scattering Research
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has made two identical DCS Orange Cryostats available for use at the NIST Center for Neutron Research (NCNR). These cryostats are designed to work with the DCS instrument and feature a 70mm sample well diameter and a body length that allows easy access to the top of the cryostat from the main floor.
The cryostats can be used in their standard setup, but researchers are encouraged to discuss any special setups they plan to use with the sample environment staff before scheduling experiments. Special setups that have been successfully used with the cryostats include gas handling, transport measurements, and high-pressure experiments.
