Kartik Srinivasan, a researcher at NIST’s Center for Nanoscale Science and Technology, has been elected a Fellow of the Optical Society (OSA). This prestigious honor recognizes his significant contributions to the fields of nanophotonics and quantum optics, particularly in areas such as cavity-QED, frequency conversion, and integrated optics including photonic crystals.
The OSA Fellowship is granted to a select group of members who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of optics. Only 10% of the total OSA membership is eligible for this distinction, which highlights Dr. Srinivasan’s exceptional work in the field. The full list of 2018 OSA Fellows can be found on the OSA website.
