The article discusses the involvement of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) staff in various technical committees and standards developing organizations (SDOs) that align with the lab’s five strategic goals. LLNL staff actively participate in approximately 130 committees and working groups, often in leadership positions. The research output from LLNL serves as a valuable source of technical information for numerous organizations, including ASTM International, ASHRAE, ASME, ASCE, ACI, AISC, NFPA, UL, SFPE, ISO, CIB, ICC, and the Construction Industry Institute, among others.
