2022 ANSI Astin-Polk International Standards Medal – Gordon Gillerman | NIST

He is an expert in designing conformity assessment systems and has advised the U.S. Trade Representative on technical barriers to trade and related trade agreements. Throughout his career, Gillerman has collaborated with the standards community to develop solutions for national priorities.

Gordon Gillerman currently leads international standards cooperation initiatives on critical and emerging technologies for the U.S. Government, working with the US/EU Trade and Technology Council and other QUAD countries like India, Japan, and Australia. The ANSI Leadership and Service Awards Ceremony will take place during World Standards Week on October 12, 2022, in Washington, D.C., where Gillerman and other awardees will be honored for their contributions to the global standards system.
