Dr. Carl A. Miller is a mathematician and quantum cryptography expert at NIST, where he has worked since 2016. He is also a Fellow at the University of Maryland’s Joint Center for Quantum Information Computer Science (QuICS). Miller’s background includes a Ph.D. in Mathematics from UC Berkeley and research positions at the University of Michigan. His work focuses on advancing quantum information science and its applications to cryptography and computer science.
