Corey Stambaugh is a key figure in the U.S. quantum computing and measurement science community. He currently serves as Chief of Staff of the Physical Measurement Laboratory at NIST, after previously leading quantum workforce and industry engagement efforts at the White House OSTP. Stambaugh has extensive experience in quantum measurement science, micro-fabricated devices, and mass metrology. He has held leadership roles in multiple interagency working groups and contributed to key quantum initiative reports. Stambaugh holds a Ph.D. in physics and has held postdoctoral positions at NIST and Seoul National University. He is also an adjunct professor at Montgomery College.
