Dr. Tasshi Dennis is a senior scientist at NIST’s Communications Technology Laboratory, where he has been working on quantum networking and transduction for over 20 years. His current project involves implementing a continuous-variables quantum network using superconducting nodes connected by optical channels, despite challenges like signal loss and added noise. Dr. Dennis and his team are actively constructing a quantum networking testbed to demonstrate remote microwave entanglement. He is also an expert in quality management systems and serves as the Quality Manager of NIST’s RF Technology Division.
