Yiliang Bao is a research scientist at NIST working on various quantum and nanotechnology projects. She received her PhD in physics from the University of Florida, focusing on measuring the Casimir force using MEMS technology. At NIST, Bao is developing high-performance silicon nitride resonators with advanced photonic and phononic structures, as well as thin-film lithium niobate photonic integrated circuits. These projects aim to advance quantum sensing and communication technologies.
