Job Opportunity: Research Associate Position, Design and Fabricate Micro- and Nano-Electronics | NIST

Title: Research Associate Position in Micro- and Nano-Electronics Design and Fabrication at NIST

NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) in Boulder, Colorado is seeking a Research Associate to join their Quantum Sensors Division, Device Fabrication Group. The successful candidate will design and fabricate micro- and nano-electronics in NIST’s state-of-the-art Boulder Microfabrication Facility.

Key responsibilities include:
– Designing specialized sensors for electromagnetic radiation and particles
– Developing readout circuitry for these sensors
– Utilizing superconducting materials, low temperatures, and quantum mechanical effects
– Supporting sensor and circuit testing at both ambient and cryogenic temperatures

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in physics, engineering, material science, chemistry, or related fields. Experience in micro- and nano-fabrication, superconducting materials, and low-temperature physics is highly desirable.
