Dr. Yuri Ralchenko is a leading researcher at NIST’s Atomic Spectroscopy Group, focusing on highly-charged ions, plasma modeling, and atomic databases. His work includes developing accurate atomic data and uncertainty quantification methods, as well as organizing international workshops and serving as an IAEA consultant. Ralchenko has received several awards for his contributions to atomic physics, including the NIST Judson C. French Award for establishing a premier atomic reference data resource.
