The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has released a final project description for their “Migration to Post-Quantum Cryptography” initiative. This project aims to help organizations transition from current public-key cryptographic algorithms to quantum-resistant alternatives.
The NIST NCCoE will collaborate with industry partners to develop practical migration strategies. These will take the form of white papers, implementation guides, and demonstrable solutions. The goal is to provide clear, actionable guidance for organizations responsible for setting cryptographic standards and for those developing, acquiring, implementing, and maintaining cryptographic products.
The project is open to participation from industry stakeholders. To join the Community of Interest, simply send an email to applied-crypto-pqc@nist.gov.
