NIST Announces New Round of SBIR Grants for Quantum Technologies and More

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has opened a new round of Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grants for fiscal year 2016. The program, which provides up to $100,000 in funding for Phase I research, is seeking proposals in 19 different technology areas, including:

– Advanced Sensing for Manufacturing Throughput
– Biomanufacturing
– Cryptography and Privacy
– Cyber Physical Systems
– Lab to Market
– Materials Genome
– Quantum-based Sensors and Measurements
