Recommendation for Cryptographic Key Generation: Draft NIST SP 800-133 Rev. 1 Available for Comment | NIST

NIST has released a draft revision of their cryptographic key generation guidelines, SP 800-133 Rev. 1, for public comment. The revision adds support for two new cryptographic algorithms: EdDSA for digital signatures and KMAC for generating message authentication codes. EdDSA will also be proposed for inclusion in the Digital Signature Standard (DSS) FIPS 186 revision. KMAC is already specified in SP 800-185. The public comment period for this draft ends on May 8, 2019.
