Title: NIST Seeking PREP Associate for Human-Robot Interaction Performance Research
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is currently seeking a PREP Associate to support research in human-robot interaction for industrial applications. The successful candidate will assist with a project evaluating interface methods for controlling and programming industrial robot arms through simulated manufacturing tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
– Sensor integration and hardware setup
– Automated data collection and analysis
– Supporting human subject studies
– Collaborating with research team
Qualifications:
– Electrical or Computer Engineering background or relevant experience
– Experience with hardware integration and sensor control
– Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
