The article discusses the application of neutron spin filters (NSFs) on the 30m Small Angle Neutron Scattering (SANS) and Very Small Angle Neutron Scattering (VSANS) instruments at NIST. The NSF is used as an analyzer for polarized beam measurements with a horizontal field orientation, allowing researchers to analyze neutron polarization in various experiments. This setup enables a deeper understanding of neutron behavior in different materials and environments. The article provides references to publications and specific applications of NSFs on SANS instruments. A presentation titled “Neutron Spin Filters on SANS” is also available in mp4 format.
