ETSI’s TC CYBER Committee is hosting a series of webinars throughout October as part of European Cyber Security Month. The webinars will cover various security topics including:
1. Middlebox Security Protocol: This new approach to network security uses middleboxes for layered defense and secure enterprise network management without infringing on user privacy. The MSP standards aim to protect networks while giving users control over their data.
2. Attribute-Based Encryption: ABE bundles strong confidentiality with flexible access control policies. The webinar will discuss how ABE can help organizations meet EU GDPR requirements for personal data protection.
3. Quantum-Safe Cryptography: As quantum computing will eventually render current public key cryptography standards obsolete, TC CYBER’s QSC working group is developing standards to secure data in a quantum computing world. The webinar will cover quantum computing’s impact on current security practices and TC CYBER’s efforts to address these risks.
The webinars are presented by leading specialists within ETSI’s security groups and provide an overview of TC CYBER’s standardization work in various security areas.
