Five NIST Scientists Win Flemming Awards | NIST

Five NIST researchers have been recognized with prestigious 2009 Arthur S. Flemming Awards for their groundbreaking work in various fields. Steven Brown was honored for his advances in light measurement and environmental remote sensing. Marla Dowell received her award for leading the world’s most comprehensive laser metrology program.
