Dr. Angela Hight Walker, a distinguished senior scientist at NIST, has been elected as a 2023 AAAS Fellow for her pioneering work in optical spectroscopies and leadership in quantum materials research. Over three decades, she has led a research team that has published over 175 papers in physics, chemistry, and materials science, focusing on low-dimensional materials. Dr. Hight Walker is also a key figure in international nanotechnology standardization efforts, contributing to ISO Technical Committee 229 and VAMAS committees.
