Bill Newhouse is a cybersecurity engineer at NIST’s National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE). He leads projects on data classification and migration to post-quantum cryptography. Newhouse has completed guides addressing cybersecurity risk in hospitality, retail, and LNG industries, and coordinated the publication of the NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework. With over 38 years in federal cybersecurity, he has contributed to multiple R&D strategic plans and holds degrees in electrical engineering and telecommunications engineering from Georgia Tech and George Washington University, respectively.
