Kamal Choudhary, a researcher at NIST, is interested in using classical, quantum, and machine learning methods to design materials at the atomic level. He has developed the JARVIS database and tools, which provide publicly available datasets for millions of material properties.
Some of Choudhary’s research projects include:
– Developing machine learning models for predicting material properties
– Using quantum computing to simulate material behavior
– Creating databases of material properties for public use
Choudhary holds a PhD, MS, and B.Tech in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida and Government College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology.
