NIST is accepting applications for its 2016 Precision Measurement Grants Program, which supports research in measurement science and the determination of fundamental constants. The program, which has been running since 1970, funds up to two projects each year for up to three years, with a maximum of $50,000 per year. It aims to support innovative research that may be difficult to fund through other sources, and past recipients have included Nobel Prize winners.
