The University of Oulu’s 6G Flagship has released a new issue of its 6G Waves magazine, highlighting research aimed at supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals through affordable connectivity for both wealthy and developing regions. The publication emphasizes Finland’s global leadership in 6G, noting the program’s EUR 251 million budget and its role in launching major international research initiatives in 2021. To foster collaboration, the Flagship is organizing three upcoming virtual events, including the 6G Symposium and the Joint EuCNC & 6G Summit, which will feature breakthrough experiments and innovations. This bi-annual magazine continues to serve as a key resource for the research community, with previous issues having been downloaded over a hundred thousand times.
