Key technical streams address critical challenges including deterministic networking via DETERMINISTIC6G and PREDICT-6G, high-frequency communications through TERA6G and TERRAMETA, and secure architectures utilizing AI and blockchain in NANCY and CONFIDENTIAL6G. The flagship Hexa-X-II project integrates these diverse technologies into a holistic vision, while testbeds like TrialsNet and 6G-SANDBOX facilitate large-scale validation of use cases in sectors like healthcare, transport, and smart cities.
