Mariella Särestöniemi receives the 2024 eHealth Award

Mariella Särestöniemi, an Adjunct Professor at the University of Oulu, received the 2024 eHealth Award for her cross-disciplinary research combining medicine with wireless radio technologies to improve diagnostics and healthcare access in remote areas. Janne Lahtiranta, an Adjunct Professor at the University of Turku, was also honored for his work on health technology test platforms and synthetic health data.
