6G4Society convenes second External Advisory Board meeting to discuss the latest deliverable on societal aspects in 6G development – 6G4Society

The 6G4Society project’s External Advisory Board reviewed Deliverable D1.1, which outlines societal concerns, acceptance models, and sustainability indicators for 6G technology. The report introduces two primary tools to embed societal values into the innovation process: a Guideline for Key Values and Key Sustainability Indicators (KVIs and KSIs) and the Social Acceptance of Technology (SAT) framework. EAB members provided feedback to refine the project’s approach, emphasizing the need to align 6G development with societal needs. The meeting concluded with agreed-upon next steps, including the exchange of additional reading materials and potential follow-up discussions on the deliverable.
