At the AIESEC Switzerland conference on November 8, 2024, the 6G4Society project hosted a workshop where young leaders discussed aligning 6G development with societal needs and environmental sustainability. Participants explored critical themes including bridging the digital divide, implementing circular economy principles for energy efficiency, and managing the impact of 6G on media and workforce automation. The session also featured interactive engagement through a “Spin the 6G Wheel” game to foster informal dialogue about the technology’s future possibilities. Ultimately, the workshop emphasized that public participation is essential to ensure 6G evolves as a socially responsible and equitable ecosystem that benefits both people and the planet.
