Call 1 Stream B – Research for revolutionary technology advancement towards 6G – SNS JU

The 6G-NTN project aims to integrate non-terrestrial networks into 6G architectures by 2030-2035 using software-defined payloads, low Earth orbit segments, and flexible waveforms supporting new spectrum bands like C and Q/V. Concurrently, the 6G-SHINE initiative focuses on short-range wireless subnetworks for extreme latency and reliability in verticals like robotics and industrial automation, leveraging novel physical layers and medium access control protocols. The 6GTandem project proposes a tandem configuration combining sub-THz carriers with lower frequency bands to achieve Tbps throughput and high-resolution sensing via distributed MIMO and radio stripe infrastructure. ADROIT6G seeks to redefine 6G architecture through AI-driven optimization, cloud-native software, and zero-touch operations validated against holographic telepresence and industrial IoT use cases. Finally, CENTRIC introduces a user-centric AI air interface that tailors waveforms and transceivers to specific application needs while utilizing neuromorphic hardware for energy-efficient, high-performance connectivity.
