TCG and ETSI establish Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to cooperate on Telecommunications Standards – ETSI

The Trusted Computing Group (TCG) and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) have signed an agreement to collaborate on open standards for telecommunications security, focusing on cloud services and platform runtime integrity for infrastructure and mobile devices. This partnership enables joint work between TCG’s Trusted Mobility Solutions group and ETSI committees covering network functions virtualization, lawful intercept, cybersecurity, and network technologies. TCG is already contributing to ETSI’s NFV group by providing platform security and remote attestation capabilities based on its hardware-rooted trust technologies. The collaboration aims to enhance interoperable security for the growing number of connected devices in critical telecom environments.
