ETSI NFV renews leadership team, prepares for Release 3 – ETSI

Diego Lopez of Telefonica has been elected as the new chairman of ETSI NFV to lead the group through its next two-year mandate, with a focus on consolidating the technology base and maintaining strong ties with open-source initiatives. To support the delivery of Release 2 features and future specifications, a new Solutions (SOL) working group has been established under the leadership of Bruno Chatras and Thinh Nguyenphu to ensure interoperability through unified protocols and data models. Additional leadership changes include Yun Chao Hu taking over the Evolution and Ecosystem (EVE) group, Marie-Paule Odini and Pierre Lynch leading the Testing and Open Source (TST) group, and new vice-chairs appointed to the Interfaces and Architecture (IFA) group to manage the increased workload of Release 3.
