ETSI announces the second NFV Plugtests event will take place in Sophia Antipolis, France, from January 15 to 19, 2018, to facilitate multi-party interoperability testing of NFV components. The five-day session will cover virtual network functions, NFV infrastructure, and management and orchestration solutions, with an expanded scope including multi-site operation, enhanced platform awareness, and NFV application programming interfaces. A key innovation for this event is the ETSI Hub for Interoperability and Validation (HIVE), which provides a continuous testing environment for remote integration and pre-testing. Supporting open source communities such as ETSI OSM, OPNFV, OpenStack, and Open Baton will participate, alongside a parallel OSM Hackfest focusing on Day 0/1/2 operations.
