21st Global Standards Collaboration Meeting (GSC-21) Convenes World’s Leading Standards Bodies – ETSI

GSC members convened in Sophia Antipolis to prioritize the development of standards for artificial intelligence in autonomous systems and the deployment of smart city solutions. The discussions highlighted the need for global semantic and platform standards to ensure interoperability across diverse urban environments and to address complex public policy challenges. Participants also exchanged information on Intelligent Transportation Systems and reaffirmed their commitment to collaborating with experts from various fields to enhance the converged ICT ecosystem. The next meeting is scheduled to take place in Switzerland under the joint hosting of the IEC and ISO.
