Confinement: how ETSI helps its members and staff to work remotely round the world – ETSI

ETSI has strengthened network resilience in Sophia Antipolis through real-time hardware synchronization between campus buildings and daily remote data center backups for all production servers. The secretariat has migrated to Office 365 for secure remote access while maintaining GDPR compliance, supported by an on-call IT process to ensure business continuity during service failures. To facilitate the shift to online-only 3GPP meetings, ETSI optimized GoToMeeting licenses, freeing over 20 slots to support 5G standardization efforts. These measures enable the continued execution of remote interoperability tests and webinars for the 50+ technologies under development by ETSI, oneM2M, and 3GPP.
