ETSI advisor at the Stakeholder Cybersecurity Certification Group launched by the EC – ETSI

The SCCG, composed of representatives from 50 organizations including trade associations, academic institutions, and standard developing bodies, marks the first anniversary of the EU Cybersecurity Act which grants ENISA a permanent mandate and expanded resources. This framework establishes market-driven EU certification schemes to reduce fragmentation among existing standards and ensure mutual recognition across all Member States. ENISA is actively collaborating with industry stakeholders and SDOs like ETSI to develop candidate certification schemes in response to direct requests from the European Commission. These initiatives aim to build a robust cybersecurity culture and facilitate cross-border trade by providing users with clear understanding of product security features.
