ETSI Mission Critical Plugtests event achieves a 95% interoperability success rate – ETSI

The ETSI MCX #5 Plugtests in Sophia Antipolis validated interoperability for mission-critical services including MCPTT, MCDATA, and MCVIDEO based on 3GPP Release 15 specifications. The sessions identified ambiguities in technical standards and practical deployment issues, providing feedback to 3GPP and ETSI for future specification improvements. An accompanying online observer program engaged public safety operators and government bodies to review progress on FRMCS standards, MCX conformance, and IWF standardization activities. The final test report detailing these results is now available on the ETSI portal.
