ETSI 3rd SDN mWT Plugtests Report published – ETSI

The third mWT Plugtests successfully executed a 50% increase in test scenarios, achieving a 92% success rate across seven vendors and four operators who demonstrated compliance with the IETF MDSC-PNC Interface. This event, conducted remotely with the Centralized Network Controller at ETSI, validated the use of a standard Northbound Interface to minimize interoperability issues and facilitate multi-vendor microwave operations. Participants achieved full compliance by testing critical functions such as network discovery, Ethernet service provisioning, and LLDP interoperability. The successful completion of these tests highlights the effectiveness of the standardized interface in easing multi-technology operations and the vital role of ETSI in overseeing the execution.
