ETSI’s Experiential Networked Intelligence (ENI) group has released initial technical reports and specifications to help operators manage the complexity of 5G networks using NFV and network slicing. These documents define use cases for infrastructure management and service orchestration while establishing requirements for dynamic, autonomous network behavior driven by closed-loop AI. To validate these concepts, the group has launched a Proof of Concept activity that will test the technical feasibility of ENI systems and contribute to the development of a context-aware policy management architecture. The ultimate goal is to enhance operator experience through adaptive, policy-driven operations in changing network environments.
