First ETSI C-V2X interoperability event tests ETSI ITS and 3GPP standards – ETSI

A week-long face-to-face meeting in Sophia Antipolis will test Intelligent Transport Systems equipment implementing C-V2X mobile technologies for vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure connectivity. The sessions will evaluate ITS functionality such as road hazard signaling and intersection collision risk warnings in both lab and field environments at the DEKRA site, using standards from ETSI and 3GPP. This event aims to demonstrate the interoperability of the C-V2X ecosystem under real-life conditions and accelerate the rollout of safer mobile-based ITS services. A parallel workshop on December 4 will further discuss achievements and challenges in the connected automotive sector.
