ETSI OSM Release ELEVEN introduces support for standardized VNF and NS package formats to improve interoperability and adds a VIM plugin for Google Cloud alongside existing Azure and AWS support. The release enables fine-grained operations for Containerized Network Functions, such as starting services or pushing config files via API, while expanding monitoring capabilities through centralized Grafana dashboards for Kubernetes metrics. Enhanced data exchange mechanisms now facilitate advanced hybrid deployments combining Physical, Virtual, and Cloud-native Network Functions, and the installation process has been updated to support the latest Ubuntu LTS release. This version reflects the contributions of a community of 150 organizations and individual experts working to align the open-source MANO stack with evolving 5G market needs.
