TARGET-X Energy Deep Dive: Energy Monitoring and Energy Consumption Awareness – SNS JU

This webinar details the TARGET-X Energy use case for monitoring and analytics, focusing on deploying voltage, current, phase, and energy measurement devices to assess local grid conditions. The implementation follows a three-step process: deploying Edge Cloud Phasor Measurement Units (edgePMU) at key points, conducting a measurement campaign to gather data, and analyzing that data to build a comprehensive database for energy transparency. The session will cover the project architecture, deployment details, and pilot sites to demonstrate how these steps enhance energy awareness and grid monitoring. Manuel Pitz, Research Associate at RWTH Aachen University and TARGET-X Energy WP Lead, will present these findings.
