The article discusses Jeff Chiles’ background and expertise in various fields of technology, with a focus on his work in integrated photonics, single-photon detectors, neuromorphic computing, and nonlinear optics. Chiles holds a BSEE and BSCPE from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and an MS and PhD in Optics from CREOL at the University of Central Florida.
