Engagement with Universities and Colleges | NIST

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Information Technology Laboratory (ITL) has launched a Speakers Bureau to engage with universities and colleges. This outreach program is currently active and allows academic institutions to request free presentations from NIST staff on various technical subjects, including Quantum Science. Interested parties can submit a Speaker Request Form to coordinate availability for either in-person or virtual sessions.

The initiative aims to raise awareness among students and faculty about NIST’s diverse work, ranging from artificial intelligence to cybersecurity. Each engagement typically consists of a 45-minute presentation followed by a 15-minute discussion period to share expertise directly with the academic community. This collaboration model is designed to motivate future innovators to consider opportunities for working with the laboratory.
