The 6G4Society project has released deliverable D1.1, which establishes a framework for integrating societal values and sustainability goals into 6G technology development. This document analyzes the relationship between 6G and society through three core concepts: societal impact, key values, and social acceptance. It provides stakeholders with a comprehensive analysis of potential controversies, guidelines for Key Values and Sustainability Indicators (KVIs and KSIs), and the Social Acceptance of Technology (SAT) framework. These contributions aim to ensure that future 6G innovations align with public needs and environmental sustainability while fostering responsible technological progress.
