The 16th NEM Summit 2025 will take place on October 21–22 in Berlin under the theme “Connected Realities,” focusing on co-creating an ethical, inclusive, and sustainable future for European media. The two-day event features keynotes and panels addressing critical topics such as virtual worlds for vertical industries, 3D and XR applications in cultural heritage, and the integration of generative AI. Organized by the New European Media Initiative and hosted by Fraunhofer FOKUS, the summit aims to foster cross-sector partnerships and explore EU funding opportunities for emerging technologies.
