Bureau of Indian Standards signs MoU with ETSI – ETSI

ETSI and India’s Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to align their ICT standardization efforts and promote the mutual adoption of standards. The agreement establishes a framework for regular dialogue, joint meetings, and the exchange of best practices to support India’s vision of a digitally connected society. This collaboration aims to foster the development of interoperable standards-based products and services, reinforcing the strategic partnership between the EU and India. Through this partnership, both organizations will work to harmonize technical activities and ensure their standards remain compatible with global progress.
