COAI and ETSI sign MoU to foster a closer co-operation on Telecom Standardization – ETSI

The Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen collaboration on ICT standardization and foster a closer partnership between India and the EU. This strategic alliance aims to promote the development of globally acceptable, harmonized open standards through regular dialogues, workshops, and conferences. A Seconded European Standardization Expert based in New Delhi will work closely with COAI to advance standards-related initiatives and leverage ETSI’s activities within the Indian market. The partnership seeks to contribute to the establishment of a robust global information infrastructure and support the advancement of modern communication technologies.
