Developed through cross-industry collaboration, this open standard enables the projection of smartphone applications onto In-Vehicle Infotainment systems via both wired and wireless mechanisms while prioritizing driver safety through voice and touch controls. As an ETSI Technical Specification, the technology gains increased visibility and is expected to expand interoperability between smart devices and automotive infotainment units across the global market.
