ETSI and OPNFV Announce Co-Located Testing and Interoperability Events – ETSI

The third ETSI NFV Plugtests event and the OPNFV Fraser Plugfest will be co-located in Sophia Antipolis from late May to early June 2018 to strengthen collaboration between standards bodies and open-source communities. The ETSI event will focus on demonstrating complex, multi-vendor Network Services and advanced features like zero-touch management, while expanding NFV API testing to support 5G and edge computing use cases. Concurrently, the OPNFV plugfest will test the Fraser release, focusing on deployment interoperability, CI/CD workflows, and hardware integration with both commercial and open-source vendors. This joint initiative leverages the ETSI HIVE infrastructure to facilitate direct interaction among over 45 participating organizations, aiming to harmonize validation efforts and accelerate NFV interoperability.
