An interoperability event in Sophia Antipolis allowed ITS stations and PKI vendors to validate their implementations against ETSI Intelligent Transport System security standards. The testing focused on C-V2X technology, which enables direct and network-based communication between vehicles, pedestrians, and infrastructure to support Cooperative ITS deployment in Europe. ETSI has updated its standards, including the new EN 303 613 and the consolidated TR 101 607 report, to define C-V2X as the access layer for interoperable ITS devices. These updates facilitate the development of compatible C-V2X implementations across multiple vendors.
