ETSI Open Source MANO Release ONE now available – ETSI

ETSI’s Open Source MANO group has released OSM Release ONE, an open source Management and Orchestration stack designed to accelerate commercial NFV network implementation with a focus on interoperability and rapid installation. The release introduces native support for VMware, OpenStack, and OpenVIM, alongside a plugin framework for SDN controllers like OpenDayLight and a one-step container-based installer to simplify deployment. Key technical enhancements include multi-site network service capabilities, advanced VNF configuration for Day-Zero setup, and improved troubleshooting through enhanced logging. To ensure broad compatibility, the community is establishing a network of remote labs for integration testing across diverse NFV infrastructures and VIMs.
