First remote Mission Critical Plugtests programme – ETSI

A remote-only MCX Plugtests event is scheduled from December 3, 2018, to January 31, 2019, to validate interoperability of Mission Critical Push To Talk (MCPTT), MCData, and MCVideo solutions based on 3GPP Release 14 specifications. Supported by TCCA and the European Commission, the testing utilizes 100 cases defined in ETSI TS 103 564, allowing vendors to connect via VPN to the ETSI HIVE environment. Over twenty industry participants, including Motorola Solutions, Nokia, and Samsung Electronics, will execute these tests to ensure standard compliance and accelerate time to market for mission-critical products. The program is endorsed by PSTA and PSCE, with the next face-to-face event planned for June 2019.
